My Aristocratic Title

These are assigned at a funny website I linked to from the Mason-Dixon blog.

Here's Mine.

Your Peculiar Aristocratic Title is:

Grand Duchess Michele the Unctuous of Bismorton Shropcake

Get yours here: http://www.masquerademaskarts.com/memes/peculiartitle.php

Excuse me while I go look up the definition of "unctuous"...somehow it doesn't sound too good.

Hi Michele :) Thanks so much for the comments you left me! 'Thankyou...' was indeed named for The Kinks song, although the version that plays in my head is the one sung by Kirsty MacColl.

To answer a couple more q's. Yes, I bought the heather that colour, though have to confess that I don't know how natural it is and whether it will stay those shades in future??? Allotments are a UK/European phenomenon (I think). They're basically plots of land owned by the government and rented out to anyone wishing to grow their own produce. They were first established during the Industrial Revolution, when people moved away from 'the land' into towns and cities. They were at their height during and just after the two World Wars, when shop bought goods were scarce. They're now seeing a renaissance as more folk want to grow their own organic crops.

I do collect seahorse stuff and even have a knitting pattern or two for them :)

Phew... more than you wanted or needed to know, I bet! Lol!

Thanks again for taking the time to visit me. I love the pic of your grandson - I bet he's huge compared to that pic now :0
